I could end this blog with one word, “WOW”. What a fun filled evening! Let’s start with the obvious. The pulled pork meal was great and the rum drink specials were a perfect complement to the meal and a big hit. Special thanks to Mike, Analisa and all of the staff for roasting the pig, preparing all of the sides and providing great service throughout the evening. The kids had a blast splashing in the pool, digging a little treasure and don’t forget the pirate tattoos. As the night went on so did the events. The water balloon toss had some very strong competition in all ages, but there can be only one winning team. This year it was none other than your board president Jeff and Andy, with a winning toss of at least 30 yards. Big thanks to all of the other teams who participated but ended up all wet. I don’t think any of us will ever forget the cannon ball contest off the diving board. The kids division was full of nearly professional cannon ballers. After two tough rounds of competition and a jump off, it was still just too close to call so the judges declared the contest a tie. The adult division was maybe the most fun ever at a pool. After three rounds of competition we crowned a clear winner. Butch made a big splash with the judges and was the only person to receive a perfect score of 10’s in each of the 3 rounds. All Hail King Butch!
Watch for our next event coming soon, you will not want to miss it.

Big time fun playing BINGO at the club!
If you didn’t make it, you really missed out on a great night of fellowship and prizes.
New menu items were brought in so everyone could keep on eating while marking those BINGO cards.
Great to see people of all ages interacting and having a good time…who wouldn’t enjoy free games and good food at a great price!
Of course some were luckier than others, winning one of the many great prizes donated by members and local businesses.
Rick Wood took home the grand prize and will be taking some lucky person to see both a STL Cardinals game and a Springfield Cardinals game.

March Madness night at the club scored big with members. The pop-a-shot basketball tournament was something for all ages. With brackets for children, women and men, everyone had a chance to win. Tipping the night off was great food and drink specials. Throw in drawings throughout the night for numerous prizes ranging from gift certificates to Televisions and it is nothing but net all night. For those of us not Elite enough to advance to the finals, we rounded out the night with lots of ping pong and bean bags competition. Leave it to a room full of golfer to figure out a way to handicap ping pong! In short it was a night filled with fun games, good food and great fellowship. Big thanks to the restaurant staff for the full court press on service all night long. Watch for details on the upcoming BINGO night April 21st , you will not want to miss it.

Our newest event, Cabin Fever Night, was held January 21, 2017. It was a great success and over one hundred people came out to enjoy the night of fellowship, fun, and games.
The Cornhole tournament had 80 participants competing for prizes and bragging rights. Dan O’Connell and John Darrow took 1st place handily with Gary Goetz and Harley Owens clinching 2nd. Butch and Patti Jackson came in 3rd as the crowd cheered loudly.
In addition to the tournament, we held side room ping pong action where clearly a few kings were established. Many raffle gifts were handed out leaving everyone satisfied and happy.
Big thanks to our primary hosts Ryan and Brandie Fisher, members of the social committee and our excellent restaurant staff!! Great Night!
